With a growing family and a home business, The clients desperately needed more space than their current ranch allowed. Local Architect Kim Hoover designed a master bedroom / bath addition allowing the kids to each have their own room in the old part of the home and the master bedroom in the original part of the home was converted to an office / laundry room.

The new roof structure covered half of the existing home thus creating a challenge of framing such a large roof span without adding load bearing walls in the kitchen / living room. this was achieved with the use of trusses.
