Ingrained Woodworking had the pleasure of being a sub contractor on a post and beam house built 8 years ago. However, 2 years ago, the home was devastated by a fire caused by lightning. The owners, while heartbroken, were eager to rebuild.

Ingrained was contacted to be the general contractor for the new home. The real treat was that Ingrained was given the opportunity to work alongside world renown Post and Beam firm Bensonwood Homes. In partnership, both Bensonwood and Ingrained Woodworking were able to create a home that not only was a beautiful reconstruction with a completely new design but also we were able to build an extremely energy efficient, highly insulated, well detailed home to last many lifetimes (complete with lightning rods!). Truly one of our favorite projects to date.
