Designed by Kim Hoover, One of Gardiner's most talented architects, Ingrained Woodworking was contracted to remove the existing homes roof and frame up a new second story addition to this modest home. The added height would allow for more bedroom and home office space as well as a view of the hudson river that was normally unable to be seen from the first floor.

The addition was done to near completion before the stairwell was framed thru to the lower portion of the home thus allowing the owners to live in the lower existing home while work upstairs progressed. An incredible design and transformation from a simple ranch to an impressive arts and crafts style home. Another one of Ingrained's favorite projects.
